Meghan Kane is a doctoral candidate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Central Florida. Her research focuses on gratitude and positive interpersonal relationships in the workplace, focusing on how positive emotions impact our relationships at work. Meghan’s work has been presented at prominent conferences, including the Academy of Management, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the Southern Management Association Annual Conferences. She has received recognition for her research contributions, including the Best Overall Conference Paper award at the Southern Management Association in 2023. Meghan is currently a Fellow of the Project on Positive Leadership with the University of Louisville College of Business where she is researching how gratitude expressions, from leaders and followers, impact first-level supervisors.
Additionally, Meghan is dedicated to teaching and mentoring. She has served as an instructor of record for undergraduate Organizational Psychology and Statistical Methods in Psychology. She is passionate about helping prepare students to navigate and contribute positively to their professional environments.
